Interventional Cardiology Opportunity - North Florida Medical Center is a 242 all‑private‑bed facility located in Tallahassee, which was recently recognized as an All‑American City. The city offers cultural diversity, local attractions and festivals, and an array of cuisine. It is also a short drive from some of Florida’s most beautiful beaches. Medical Center is seeking an interventional cardiologist to join the premier cardiology practice. The practice includes 2 general cardiologists, 2 interventional cardiologists and 1 EP cardiologist. In this position, the physician will perform a mix of general and interventional cardiology, rotating between the office, catheterization laboratory, and patient rounding. Call responsibilities include a 1:6 ratio for facility/ER and practice call for general cardiology, and a 1:3 ratio for STEMI call. The current interventionalists maintain a door‑to‑balloon time of 34 minutes. Medical Center has four catheterization laboratories – two dedicated cath labs, one EP lab and one peripheral lab.
