Museum Gallery Host
Susquehanna Art Museum
This is an opportunity for volunteers looking for either flexible volunteer time, or regularly scheduled shifts, such as afternoons or mornings. This opportunity requires people skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. This volunteer will be posted inside the main gallery of the museum and be responsible for gallery safety. This position sometimes includes kindly reminding our museum visitors to refrain from touching the artworks or taking flash photographs. It requires no heavy lifting, no extended standing, or physical activity. Experience as a receptionist, educator, or a position in hospitality is helpful in this position.
