The role also involves patient interaction, charting, and adherence to infection control standards to deliver quality dental care. Take X-rays and process diagnostic images. Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients. Ensure patients feel comfortable and understand their procedures. Maintain accurate treatment notes and charting. Prepare and sanitize treatment areas, instruments, and equipment. Support sterilization protocols and infection control guidelines. Procedural Assistance: Take impressions for study models and appliances. Provide suctioning and isolation during procedures. Handle instrument sterilization and inventory management. Administrative & Compliance Duties: Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols. Track and manage inventory and supply restocking. Assist the front office as needed with scheduling and patient inquiries. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Dental assisting experience Required Certificates or Licences: X-Ray certification BLS certification 8-hour Infection Control certification 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
