Receptionist/Facilities Coordinator

Job#: 3040614 Receptionist/Facilities Coordinator Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid) Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and action-oriented Receptionist/Facilities Coordinator to support various office functions and ensure smooth in-office operations. This role is central to managing the day‑to‑day facility needs and providing a professional front‑desk presence. The position requires a hybrid schedule with four days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities Manage relationships with facilities vendors and coordinate with the landlord on building matters. Handle the visitor log, create security badges, and ensure all guest check‑in protocols are followed. Support onsite company events, including conference room setup and teardown, and provide general problem‑solving. Order and manage inventory for office and pantry supplies. Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and packages. Provide administrative support, which may include managing postage and shipping accounts. Assist with basic accounting tasks and manage expense accounts to ensure timely invoice processing. Direct and support onsite contractors, building engineers, and various service providers. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. A high school diploma is the minimum requirement. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, including assisting with facilities maintenance, resolving operational issues, and supporting senior‑level team members. Skills: Experience with software programs including Windows and MS Office applications. A proactive, action‑oriented attitude and basic accounting understanding are necessary. Preferred Qualifications Proficient writing, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Developed client service skills. Effective organization and time management abilities.
