Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit with a focus on labor and delivery. Candidates must hold a valid perm AK license for submission, with mandatory OR circulator and labor/delivery experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients undergoing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.
• Perform procedures such as induction, C-Section, vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions, and bilateral tubal ligation.
• Handle triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, and IUFD care.
• Participate in on-call requirements with 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule.
• Meet weekend requirements of 2 weekends, variable depending on staffing needs.

Requirements:

• Must have OR circulator and labor/delivery experience.
• AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification, NRP, ACLS, BLS.
• Ability to be flexible, positive, and a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be capable of performing SVE and placing IUPC and FSE, stork nursing, and transitioning babies at delivery.
