Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Job Title
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Care: Take vital signs, collect blood or tissue samples, and give medications.
Surgery Support: Prep surgical tools, induce and monitor anesthesia, and track patient recovery.
Laboratory Work: Run in-house blood work, fecal exams, and urinalysis.
Client Communication: Explain at-home care, medication schedules, and dietary needs to pet owners.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Earn an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited veterinary technology program.
Licensing: Pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) and hold an active state license.
Skills: Handle animals safely, use medical software, and work well in high-stress environments
