Supply Technician

About the Position: Serves as Operations Division, River Operations Branch Property Book Officer with responsibility for developing annual inventory schedules for hand receipt accounts, ensuring the conduct of inventories by hand receipt holders, inspecting accounts, and ensuring the process of reports of survey and/or investigations as required from lost, damaged, or destroyed property. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Conducting physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies in automated property records; 2) Providing supply operations support pertaining to specialized or unique supplies or equipment; and 3) Preparing property disposal and transfer paperwork to document lost, damaged, or excess equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18.
