Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Oregon City, Oregon. This position involves providing specialized care in a Level II maternity unit with a Level I nursery. The role requires supporting active labors, postpartum care, and ensuring patient safety in a facility that admits babies over 35 weeks gestation, with experienced staff following AWHONN staffing standards.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, certification in AWHONN Advanced (or pending), BLS, NRP; experience with adult and neonatal patient care, EPIC charting system proficiency, standing or sitting for long periods, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a Level II maternity unit with a Level I nursery, experience with high-risk obstetrics, clinical proficiency in advanced obstetric procedures, familiarity with neonatal resuscitation protocols.
• Additional Information: The role requires float between units as needed, availability for on-call shifts, weekends, and holiday work. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be flexible with schedule requests. Candidates are expected to follow AWHONN staffing standards with support from interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and other clinical support staff.
• Patient Population: Neonates over 35 weeks gestation, low to moderate risk obstetric patients, including gestational hypertensives, pre-eclampsia, twins, diabetics, TOLACs, and low-risk patients.
