Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) / Women’s Services Employment Type: Travel Nurse Job Location: Statesboro, GA Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 9/28/2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; floating and call required Call Requirement: 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 6 weeks, including 1 weekend call shift Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required At least 2 prior completed travel nursing assignments in L&D required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required CPN certification and Cerner experience preferred Ability to pass an EKG competency check Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to floating within women’s services as needed Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients Monitor and support laboring patients while collaborating closely with physicians and the care team Circulate for vaginal deliveries and assist in the operating room for cesarean sections Support newborn resuscitation and immediate neonatal care during deliveries Perform triage for patients 20 weeks and above with confidence and accuracy Recover patients following vaginal and cesarean deliveries Float between departments within the women’s pavilion as assigned Maintain safe, efficient, patient-centered care while following nursing standards and unit protocols Apply now for this Travel Labor & Delivery RN opportunity in Statesboro, Georgia and join a team committed to high-quality obstetrical and neonatal care.
