Accounting Manager
A mission-driven real estate developer with a strong pipeline of projects across the Bay Area is looking for an Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of its growing portfolio. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team focused on impactful community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee job cost accounting using Yardi Voyager
- Lead monthly/quarterly job cost reviews and reporting
- Forecast project cash needs and review construction contracts
- Manage accruals, cost transfers, and job closeouts
- Support budgeting, reforecasting, and audit prep
- Mentor staff and improve reporting processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in real estate
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and job cost accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Yardi highly preferred)
- CPA and experience with multi-entity property accounting is a plus
