Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Circuit in Flushing, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 09:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed06:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur06:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, helping to support authorized access practices and reporting discrepancies.
- Assist with observing trailer yards, freight movement areas, and exterior grounds for security-related concerns, damaged property, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
