Production Supervisor

We're supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Boyertown, Pennsylvania who are looking for a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to join their growing team. $85,000 Direct Hire Shift Pattern: 2nd Shift - Mon to Thurs 6:30pm-5am, Fri 3:30pm - 12am Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the work of machine operators and packers to meet production schedules and quality standards. Lead and develop the 2nd shift team across production, maintenance, and quality, ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and productivity that align with financial targets. Work closely with maintenance and quality personnel to meet business objectives. Utilize lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, 5-Whys, PDCA/SDCA cycles, SMED, and waste reduction to improve the value chain. Maintain situational awareness across the production floor; effectively multitask and manage priorities in real time. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues; assist with maintenance when possible. Train, coach, and motivate employees in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and quality. Required Skills Proven mechanical aptitude and hands‑on troubleshooting experience. Demonstrated ability to lead through servant leadership - empowering, supporting, and holding teams accountable. Strong decision-making skills: able to analyze facts, exercise sound judgment, and act with confidence. Experience applying lean manufacturing principles (5S, SMED, PDCA, waste elimination).
