A patient-centered plastic surgery practice in northern Georgia is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a collaborative team providing reconstructive and cosmetic surgical care.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient visits and surgical consultations.
• Perform minor procedures and assist with hospital rounding.
• Serve as a first or second assist during surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Coordinate referrals, patient inquiries, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Manage surgical supplies, implant orders, and related operating room needs.
• Share limited call responsibilities with the surgical team.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a surgical practice preferred, with plastic, reconstructive, or cosmetic surgery experience highly valued.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current professional certification.
• Current Georgia Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
• Experience assisting with surgical procedures and providing preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and care-coordination skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused professional who works effectively with surgeons, hospital staff, and other members of a collaborative healthcare team.
