Location: Healdsburg, CA Pay Rate: $24.00 - $25.00/hour Schedule: Full-time Work Environment: 100% Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support the Escrow Department with administrative, customer service, and clerical functions throughout the escrow closing process. This role assists with file preparation, fund handling, document processing, and communication with customers to ensure smooth and accurate real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Escrow team throughout the closing process.
• Answer incoming calls, greet customers, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Open new escrow orders and complete initial file setup.
• Assist with the deposit and distribution of escrow funds.
• Prepare written transmittals for funds and documents.
• Process reconveyances and maintain accurate escrow files.
• Perform pre-closing file maintenance and post-closing follow-up.
• Communicate with customers and third parties to obtain information needed for successful closings.
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous escrow, title, or real estate industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
