Landscape Technician

Carmel Landscapes is currently searching for self-motivated, high-caliber professional Landscape Technicians who take pride in their work, values teamwork and have an eye for remarkable craftsmanship! This is a skilled laborer position that will work closely with a foreman and management to perform landscape installations and ornamental plant maintenance, this is not a lawn care position. Healthcare contributions for full-time employees Paid time off (PTO) and vacations Opportunities for professional development Schedule Full-time 1st shift (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) (floating winter shift) Overtime available Preferred Skills & Experience Experience with mulch, plant, and ornamental bed installations Knowledge of proper planting and pruning techniques Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Familiarity with the safe handling and application of horticultural chemicals Certification from the National Association of Landscape Professionals or equivalent organizations Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Responsibilities Mulch, plant, and ornamental bed installations with an eye for timeless, tailored designs Pruning and plant care, following ANSI A300 industry's best practices Material logistics, ensuring seamless project execution Safe handling and application of horticultural chemicals as needed Maintaining a clean and safe outdoor work environment in various weather conditions Work independently and collaboratively to foster a positive team culture Perform tasks safely and efficiently, strictly following Carmel Landscapes' company policies and procedures under the supervision of a foreman or supervisor Carmel Landscapes is an equal opportunity employer who values professionalism and skilled craftsmanship.
