Overview

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Collaboration Team. This role will serve as the primary administrator and future subject matter expert for enterprise collaboration and communication platforms.

The primary focus of this position is enterprise telephony and unified communications administration , with Microsoft Teams serving as the secondary area of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise telephony, voice services, and collaboration platforms while helping guide the organization's transition to modern cloud-based communication technologies.

Key ResponsibilitiesTelephony & Unified Communications

• Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for enterprise telephony and unified communications platforms.
• Administer and support Cisco Call Manager, Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center environments.
• Manage voice services, call routing, extensions, contact center functionality, conferencing technologies, and related communications infrastructure.
• Support Cisco Webex conferencing devices and collaborate with field technicians to troubleshoot telephony and conferencing issues across branch and office locations.

Microsoft Teams & Collaboration

• Administer and support Microsoft Teams, including configuration, governance, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
• Partner with team members to support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
• Participate in future collaboration technology initiatives and platform enhancements.

Current Projects

• Support migration from on-premises Cisco Call Manager to Webex Calling.
• Assist with modernization efforts involving cloud-based voice and collaboration services.
• Participate in SIP trunk migrations from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.
• Evaluate and support future voice and collaboration technologies, including Microsoft Teams Calling.
• Support continued growth and administration of Microsoft Teams following enterprise deployment.
• Assist with future OneDrive and Microsoft Copilot rollout and governance efforts.

Systems Administration

• Install, maintain, monitor, and support assigned systems.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to ensure stable system performance.
• Manage application security, Active Directory integration, permissions, and auditing.
• Research system requirements for upgrades and future migrations.
• Prepare and execute testing, validation, upgrades, and patch management activities.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and planning.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and workflows as needed.
• Recommend policies, standards, and best practices while ensuring adherence to security procedures.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with Help Desk teams, internal departments, end users, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Assist with planning and implementing system enhancements and new features.
• Evaluate hardware, software, and vendor solutions that align with business objectives.
• Provide support during after-hours maintenance windows, upgrades, and outages when necessary.

Required QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License, or ability to obtain one.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 2+ years supporting enterprise collaboration, telephony, or related systems preferred.
• Experience with enterprise unified communications and voice platforms.

• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.

Work Environment

• Professional office environment using standard office technology and equipment.
• Regular travel to branch locations, meetings, and conferences may be required.
• Participation in disaster recovery testing.
• Occasional evening or weekend work for upgrades, maintenance, or outages.
• On-call support may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily sedentary work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform computer-based work for extended periods.

Additional Information

• Industry certification related to assigned systems may be required within 12 months of hire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $105000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
