Machinist – 1st Shift | $28–$30/hr

People Plus is partnering with a local manufacturer to hire an experienced Machinist for a 1st shift, Monday–Friday opportunity. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can set up and operate machine tools to produce high-precision parts and maintain industrial equipment.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay:

• $28–$30 per hour - Pay based on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
• Fabricate, modify, or repair parts for machinery and machine tools
• Maintain and repair industrial machines as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop math, metal properties, layouts, and machining procedures
• Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet production standards
• Experience with precision measuring tools preferred to hearing from you!
