Per Diem Dietary AideEmployment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating shifts, must be flexible to work every other weekendLocation: Langhorne, PADepartment: DietaryReports to: Director Food / Nutritional ServicesPosition Purpose: St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Per Diem Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Team!What You Will Do:Dietary Aides are to complete daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions, and preparing coffee and other drinks in our coffee shop.Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific proceduresServing meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all timesStaying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulationsSetting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaningAssisting with educational programs on nutritionTalking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal orderMinimum Qualifications:HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)Barista or food service experience1 year experience (minimum)2-4 years experience (preferred)Our Commitment: Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
