Associate Veterinarian – Overland Park, KS #5610

We are seeking a full-time, teamwork-minded Associate Veterinarian to join a team. This is a full-service, general small animal practice in Overland Park, Kansas. They facility is fully equipped with in-house IDEXX lab machines, Antech, digital radiology (including dental), ultrasound, cold laser, and more. They utilize the services of a traveling radiology technician to perform abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms once a week. The practice also has doggie daycare, dog and cat boarding, dog training, and grooming. They are always adding to their amazing client base because of these additional services.

Here, doctors perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries, with each patient required to have pre-op lab work, an IV catheter, IV fluids, and dental radiography (if applicable) during the procedure. An interest and experience in surgery and dentistry is a must!

Most importantly, the support staff are incredible! The technicians are proficient in dental radiography, phlebotomy, cystocentesis, surgery prep, anesthetic monitoring, and assisting in exam rooms. The doctors are well supported, since there are currently 2 technicians per doctor, a dedicated surgery technician, and several floating technicians. This practice has worked hard to build and maintain a positive team culture and light-hearted environment. The team works hard but enjoys working together and having fun.

The doctors work a 4-day work week and rotate Saturdays, which is usually 2 per month. There are on on-call hours.
