Details Community-level Labor & Delivery unit with 100-200 births per month, primarily low-risk cases Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30 No call requirements No blocked or self-scheduling permitted Epic charting system required, must be reflected in candidate's work history Requirements Active, unencumbered CA RN license required in-hand (EMSA license not accepted) Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required, with at least 1 year full-time equivalent specialty experience within the past 2 years Prior travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Two supervisor references required, including at least one from the specific unit within the past year Must pass EKG exam (up to 3 attempts permitted) Additional Information Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for C-sections, assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, fetal monitoring, newborn care, and postpartum management Care for patients with high-risk antepartum conditions including pre-eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, placenta previa, and preterm labor No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 RTO days per 13-week contract highly preferred All RTO requests must be submitted with a screenshot confirmation and cannot be changed once submitted Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Previous employees must have a minimum 1-year gap before returning as a traveler Manager interview may or may not be conducted; candidates must be comfortable proceeding without one American Traveler Job ID P-741476.
