Transportation Secretary PositionThis secretarial position will be available immediately. This is a 12 month position, 7.5 hours per day. This position reports daily to the North Bus Lot Transportation Facility at 10:30 am until 6:30 pm. The salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Support Association Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement. Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience as a support employee in an educational/transportation setting or related field; and/or two years of experience with customer service and conflict resolution skills. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, as well as Google productivity applications, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Sheets. It is crucial to possess organizational skills and the ability to rapidly switch between concurrently assigned tasks with ease. An ability to prioritize in a dynamic work environment is a must. Viable candidates must be able to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals in a fast paced office setting as well as have the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders at anytime. Candidates must be able to maintain professionalism and adhere to deadlines. Candidates must be able to make appropriate judgments as they pertain to the responsibilities of the position. Responsibilities include: clerical and supervisory support, records management, communication with stakeholders, data management, problem solving, and collaboration. Successful interviews along with meeting all local standards are required. Compensation: $18.26/hr.
