• DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
  
  • Perform specified routine and on demand cleaning in and around hospital departments, patient care units and ancillary areas. Perform minor repairs, moves, transport of soiled equipment and work in compliance with all safety and other regulations while delivering excellent services to assigned units. All Environmental Services Staff and Leadership are expected and required to adhere to all aspects of the organizations values and Service Standards.
• Other Requirements:
• Ability to follow instructions,
• Ability to perform repetitive duties.
• Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients, staff and visitors.
• Ability to received criticism professionally.

Requirement description :

• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Proven ability to perform duties and tasks in accordance with established standards.
• CPI required for staff assigned to BHU and Emergency Dept (will pend after offer)
• The ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc. required
• The ability to read and write English, and to communicate effectively required
• Traveler must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
