ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is focused on providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex medical needs in a high-acuity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care for patients experiencing cardiovascular emergencies, multi-trauma situations, and other critical health conditions, including gunshot wounds, strokes, and motor vehicle accidents.Manage care for patients in a thrombectomy-capable stroke center and STEMI receiving facility.Administer advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), basic life support (BLS), and other life-saving measures as necessary.Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and facilitate smooth transitions of care.Utilize Epic for charting and documentation of patient information.Provide support in overflow units such as PCU and ICU as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting required.Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification, and LA Fire Card.Strong neuro experience is a must, coupled with a background in critical care for cardiac and surgical patients.Ability to work effectively within a Magnet-designated facility.Floating between similar units may be required based on operational needs.ScheduleThis position offers night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
