Opportunity Details: We are looking for colleagues to join our dynamic group of six Hematologist/Oncologists. Ample opportunities to develop own clinic and precept a fellow’s clinic. Availability of various leadership positions from day one, opportunities to collaborate in clinical research and QI projects. Academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The call schedule is 1 in 6 weeks at-home.Fellows are first call. Qualifications Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Oncology. Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology. Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain). Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $342,000*(board eligible) and $347,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $471,720** (board eligible) and $477,220 ** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
