Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Maintenance Worker at the Miami Youth Academy in Miami, FL.Miami Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth aged 14 to 18. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based substance abuse services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program. We welcome ALL who are passionate about making a difference! So, come as you are and grow with us!Pay: $21.00 per HourPerformance-based compensation reviews are conducted annually (2%,4%, or 6%)Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (at 60 days for Hourly employees and 90 days for Salaried)Choice of Supplemental benefits, including Short-Term Disability and increased Life Insurance.Eligible for a 100% 401 (k) match of up to 6% of your salary after 1 year of employment.Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues.To be considered, you should possess a high school diploma. Prior building maintenance experience preferred (general building maintenance, minor electrical, painting, door hardware, minor plumbing, drains, etc.). Must possess a valid state driver's license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, and TB test. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
