Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience working independently in both diagnostic X-ray and CT
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT certification required
• State of Maine Radiologic Technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Proficiency with routine diagnostic X-ray, CT imaging, trauma imaging, IV contrast administration, and mobile/portable bedside imaging
• Ability to work with multiple computer systems and electronic workflows
• Familiarity with Siemens CT equipment preferred
• Willingness to provide OR X-ray coverage as needed
• Ability to participate in shared call coverage, including occasional evenings and weekends
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures
• Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, accuracy, and workflow efficiency
• Provide trauma imaging and IV contrast studies as needed
• Complete mobile and portable bedside imaging to support patient care throughout the department
• Assist with OR coverage when required
• Participate in shared call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Support overall department staffing needs with flexibility, professionalism, and excellent communication
