Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician Opportunity

We are excited to announce an opening for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our well-established private practice in Lafayette, Louisiana. This role offers a unique chance to become part of a thriving consultative practice with a solid referral network and excellent support.

Position Highlights
  • Consultation-Based Practice: Focus primarily on outpatient consultative care with home call responsibilities.
  • Flexibility & Autonomy: The new MFM physician will have the freedom to customize their practice structure, balancing consults, procedures, and hospital involvement according to their preferences.
  • Additional Income Opportunity: There is an option to take unattended hospital call, which could lead to significant supplemental earnings (approximately $20,000/month).
  • Established Referral Network: Benefit from strong relationships with referring OB/GYNs in the area, with opportunities for further growth.
  • Excellent Support Team: Work alongside experienced MFM sonographers and dedicated office staff to ensure smooth clinical and administrative operations.
  • Collaborative Environment: Access to a network of regional pediatric subspecialists, including cardiology, neonatology, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, and urology.
  • Outreach Opportunity: Participate in a current outreach clinic held bi-weekly, with potential for expansion.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency.
  • Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Louisiana.
