Distribution Technician - SPD -Days - FT
Memorial Health System
Job Description Inventories and dispatches supplies and minor movable equipment. Responsibilities
- Inventories and replenishes supplies.
- Inventories and restocks unit supply carts in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Assists with restocking of SPD shelves on a daily basis.
- Dispatches supplies and minor movable patient care equipment.
- Delivers "STAT" items immediately upon receipt of request.
- Fills requisitions for supplies and minor movable to the requesting departments in a timely manner.
- Fills requisitions accurately.
- Makes postings on requisition sheets.
- Documents complete and accurate transactions (i.e., requests, credits, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Notifies the Inventory Control Specialist immediately of low on hand quantities or outages.
- Removes outdated sterile supplies and returns them to SPD for disposition as appropriate.
- Checks the expiration dates of sterile supplies on the PAR carts and removes items that are approaching expiration date as per departmental policy.
