• Case Mix: General Emergency Medicine

• Average Physician Productivity: 2.1 Patients Per Hour

• Transfer Rate: 2%

• No. of ED Beds: 46 Treatment Rooms

• Additional Treatment Areas: 10 Vertical Care Areas and 10 Hallway Beds

• Trauma Level: Level IV (Pending State Approval)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Texas License or Active IMLC Eligibility

• Board: Board Certified Emergency Medicine Required

• Experience: Emergency Department Experience Required

• Other Qualifications:

• Texas Candidates Preferred for Locum Coverage

• Locums-to-Perm and Permanent Interest Highly Desired

• APP Candidates Must Have Emergency Medicine Experience

• Emergency Medicine Fellowship Preferred for APPs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Emergency Department physician coverage

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency patients

• Manage acute and critical presentations

• Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary teams

• Document patient encounters in Meditech

• Deliver evidence-based emergency care
