Position: Manufacturing Associate (Glass Experience Required) Location: 2940 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118 Wage: Starting at $14.00 - $15.00 (Dependent on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change Department : Manufacturing/Production Operations Summary Glaz-Tech is looking for Glass Fabricator/Material Handler, Glass Catcher (End of Furnace) and Muntin Bar Specialist at our Shreveport, LA location. We are seeking responsible, adaptable and self-driven individuals looking to grow with us in the manufacturing industry. The glass fabricator/material handler, Glass Catcher (End of Furnace) and Muntin Bar Specialist will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality. Responsibilities may include: Use of specialized machinery and hand tools Organization and production of various glass products Assisting multiple departments as needed Requirements: Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day Must have reliable transportation to and from work Ability to communicate in English Willingness to learn new skills and grow as an employee Successfully pass pre-employment Drug Screen Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent Authorized to work in the US What is Glaz-Tech Industries?
