Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1930 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), and PCA pumps. - Medication gtt management to include cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IVF.

Special Requests: - RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

Unit Details: - Emergency observation unit caring for patients with chest pain, syncope, and angina. - CNA ratio: 1:10. - Uses Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - Night shift hours: 1850-0710. - Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Travel nurses will be first to float to other nursing units based on patient care needs and staffing demands and will take patients within scope of practice on any unit (e.g. MedSurg assignment in ICU, MedSurg holds in ED, etc.). - Will be required to float within Region 1 as needed: Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only)).

6 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
