We are seeking top talent to join the Accounting department!Our Corporate Staff Accountant role will play an integral role in maintaining the month-end/quarter-end accounting to ensure accurate and timely financials. This role will partner closely with corporate functions including IT, fleet, HR and finance teams. Must be a self-starter to take ownership of their work, and drive efficiencies in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting.ResponsibilitiesAssist with monthly financial close including journal entries, internal reporting, and account reconciliationsRecord, maintain, and report fleet and real estate lease data leveraging leasing softwareCollaborate with the treasury departments on accounting for corporate debtMaintain and reconcile prepaids for the corporate officeAssist with the review of monthly consolidated financial statements for corporate departmentsRecord and reconcile key accruals including payroll, medical, benefit plans and other entries each monthResearch and resolve accounting issues for corporate departmentsRecommend and ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures in compliance with SOXAssist in the design and implementation of process improvements, including standardization, enhancements and potential automation of existing processes and systems, and other accounting applicationsWork closely and directly with external and internal auditorsBuild and maintain cross-functional and collaborative relationships with colleagues across finance, operations, legal, procurement, IT, and othersWork on special projects and tasks as assignedThe BenefitsChallenging position with a financially stable and reputable company (NYSE: ROL)Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, maternity & life insurance401(k) plan with company match, employee stock purchase planTeammate discounts, tuition reimbursement, and dependent scholarship awardsPaid Time OffWork Environment: This is a hybrid role based out of our Atlanta, GA Home Office.
