Electronics assembler technician

We are currently hiring Electronics Assembly Technicians for a premier facility. Step into a hands-on position where you will gain valuable skills, work with specialized technology, and be part of a team that recognizes and rewards your efforts.

salary: $24.99 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Precision Assembly: Build electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems (such as power control panels) using hand tools, light power tools, and specialized fixtures.

Soldering & Wiring: Hand-solder wires and components directly to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assemble complex wiring harnesses.

Blueprint & Documentation Reading: Interpret bills of materials (BOMs), schematic drawings, blueprints, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guarantee accurate product construction.

Quality Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of completed units to ensure high workmanship and quality standards, specifically checking for proper alignment and secure connections.

Functional Testing: Run basic operational tests on sub-assemblies to verify they meet all necessary technical specifications prior to final packaging.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in electronic or small-part assembly, specifically including hands-on use of a soldering iron.

Technical & Manual Skills

• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using standard hand tools, including soldering irons, crimpers, wire cutters, strippers, and screwdrivers.
• Dexterity: High level of manual dexterity required to handle small, delicate components.
• Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of electrical systems and circuit board components.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
