Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a CVICU setting adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and manage care for open heart, thoracic, and vascular patients utilizing advanced equipment.
• Titrate medication drips including vasopressors and sedation for critical patients.
• Interpret and respond to telemetry monitoring without support techs.
• Collaborate with charge nurse and participate in interdisciplinary care rounds.
• Float to various units as needed while maintaining care standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and eligibility to practice in Nebraska.
• Minimum 1 year experience with CVICU patient population required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry without a dedicated tech.
• Driver's license for radius compliance verification.
