- **Job Description****Additional Job Information**Boone Hospital Center, a 392-bed full service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Hospitalist Physician. The candidate for this position will be joining an established hospital within a strong community focused to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.Boone Hospital is one of the best hospitals in the nation and the only hospital in mid-Missouri awarded a 5-star rating by CMS. Boone has also achieved its Magnet designation for the fifth time in a row, indicating the high standard of excellence that Boone Hospital nurses achieve every day for patients. The employees of Boone Hospital are dedicated to serving the mid-Missouri region with the highest standards in patient care.### ## **Overview****Practice Highlights:*** Join a dynamic team within an established hospital environment dedicated to enhancing community health.* Provides evidenced based medical care to those patients of participating program physicians.* Responds to emergencies of all patients and responds as part of the Rapid Response Team.* Participates in medical staff quality improvement and review activities.**Responsibilities:*** Provide exceptional medical care of assigned patients, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver compassionate care.* Perform thorough histories and physicals, adhering to hospital by-laws and best practices.* Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety in this critical role at Boone Health.* Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.About **Columbia, MO:** our community offers a compelling blend of professional opportunities and quality of life that makes it an ideal place for physicians seeking to relocate.
