Physical Therapist – Travel Position MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Waterville, Maine. Job Details Location: Waterville, Maine Start Date: 05/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 hours, days (40 hours per week) Employment Type: Travel Requirements Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with a passing score on the NPTEL exam. Graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or be in the process of obtaining licensure. CPR certification. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care. Determine medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals based on the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet physical therapy goals.
