Job Title: VP, Legal Counsel - Data Center Leasing
Location: Remote
Salary: $250K–$300K+, plus bonus

As VP, Legal Counsel, you will help shape the contracting framework for large-scale initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of data center leases and service agreements with enterprise customers.
• Advise on deal structuring for complex transactions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial management and project teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements supporting large-scale projects.
• Develop scalable legal infrastructure.
• Manage outside counsel.
• Support broader legal operations, including compliance and risk management.

Must-Have Skills:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• 5+ years of direct experience negotiating large-scale data center lease agreements with hyperscalers.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% within the U.S.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Law firm and in-house experience.
• Experience with commercial real estate financings.
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management in data center environments.
• Strong communication skills and good business judgment.
