Inpatient hospital-based OB/GYN care supporting community hospital needs

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an obstetrics and gynecology physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a regional hospital in Williston, North Dakota. This role involves inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including deliveries, surgical procedures, and urgent response in a hospital setting.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Williston, North Dakota

• Setting: Inpatient hospital-based practice
• Coverage: 24-hour on-call daily (7 am – 7 am) from December 24 through January 4

Schedule & Coverage

• 24-hour call coverage daily
• Respond to deliveries, inpatient rounds, and ER urgent cases during on-call periods

Clinical Scope

• Vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, D&C procedures
• Handling approximately 50-60 deliveries per month
• Responding to urgent obstetric cases in the ER
• Providing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care

Practice Environment
This hospital-based practice involves hospital OB/GYN duties supported by a community hospital team. Providers will utilize systems such as Meditech, Dragon, PACs, eRx (Dr. First), and Imprivata Tap and Go to facilitate clinical documentation and communication.

Requirements

• Active North Dakota MD license
• DEA registration
• Experience with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, and D&C procedures
• Familiarity with Meditech, Dragon, PACs, eRx, and Imprivata Tap and Go systems preferred
