Management Analyst
Department of the Air Force
DutiesHelp. Actively participates in developing AFIT and Air University policy, guidance, and instructions to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques. Applying Air Force military manpower and personnel experience, advises on human resource activities of the Military Personnel Division, and Unit Training Management, ensuring that all related functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Documents and reviews personnel and educational policy and programming decisions/recommendations in appropriate formats to meet Air University and AETC requirements. Serves as AFIT's principal military manpower advisor to AFIT senior leadership. Continually anticipates, identifies, and refines emerging Institute military manpower requirements within the changing military human resource environment.
