• Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per week: 36 hours
• Employment Type: Contract
• Experience: 2+ years of PACU RN experience required
• Licensure/Certifications: Active Ohio RN license; BLS, ACLS preferred but not mandatory

What You'll Do

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery in the PACU setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and responsiveness, adjusting care as needed
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards
• Assist with patient discharge planning as directed

What You Need

• Ohio RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years recent PACU experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Willingness to work night shifts and holiday coverage (as needed)

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Experience in a large hospital or academic medical center
