As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and other security-related concerns, and provide welcoming customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 - $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patrons and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail food and beverage location. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of dining areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
