Branch offices are also located in Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.Join our office in Little Canada, MN as our Senior Designer!Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Primarily focus complex design projects, quality controlling work and actioning items from clientsDesign facilities for new and existing customers according to the customer’s construction standards.Read and interpret multiple types of construction drawings (one lines, mechanical, plumbing, etc.) to determine job scopes.Manage and report on multiple projects from start to finish.Work with area engineers, customers and local division support to meet deadlines.Obtain permits and easements for facilities in accordance with city ordinances, state, federal, and county agencies as required.Execute contracts and agreements in compliance with administrative instructions and regulatory requirements.Actively communicate with customers, vendors, and supervisors on all aspects of individual jobs.Provide cost-effective estimates to your customers using standardized documents.Schedule and attend meetings on-site with customers to determine site-specific requirementsInspect work in progress to ensure that documentation conforms to standardsCommunicate any problems to the Design ManagerServe as a resource for their team to problem solve projectsRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in design, construction or related field preferredProficient user of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and OutlookWorking knowledge of GIS or similar mapping software is desired, but not requiredExperience working in SAP platformExcellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers (internal/external)Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid Driver’s License for the state in which the primary work functions are performedStrong customer service skills, with the ability to build relationshipsExcellent analytical skills with high-level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to prioritize and plan work activities to be effective and efficientMust be comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays and responding to unexpected situationsAbility to maintain and protect confidential informationQ3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.Benefits:Competitive compensation paid weekly.Best-in-class; Medical, Dental, Vision, and LTD/STD.401(k) with company match, vested day-one.Employee Stock Purchase Plan [ESPP].Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, and Community Service Paid Time Off.Sick Time Off under the Colorado's Healthy Families and Workplaces ActGrowth Opportunities.And more.Compensation: $35.00- $36.50/hour (DOE)EEO Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Third Party Agency Notice:Primoris will not accept any unsolicited resumes from any third-party recruiting agencies either domestic or international.
