Casino Porter

The Casino Porter keeps the casino floor, public restrooms, employee restrooms, employee dining area, private offices, and the parking garage of the property clean and in an orderly condition. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clean and polish floors in all public areas, including hallways, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish various types of flooring. Clean and care for rugs and walk-off carpet. Assist guests with any questions they may have or requests. Maintain an open line of communication with supervisors and managers concerning all housekeeping and guest service related issues. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with team members, guests and vendors. Accept performance feedback in a professional manner. Other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All employees must be knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in housekeeping in a similar casino/hotel environment preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to effectively communicate in English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
