Business Systems Support Analyst III

Overview The Virgin Voyages Business Systems Support Analyst III will be a key member of the Voyage Services team, coordinating and executing testing for new software releases, collecting, analyzing and reporting system performance data, and performing regular audits on all software applications and hardware used within the operation. You will help introduce other teams to new systems and support them in understanding how they work and, when needed, how they don’t work. This role is based at VVHQ — Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL with a hybrid work environment. What You'll Be Up To Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Oversee the development of system specifications, process flows, and functional requirements to ensure alignment with business goals. Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement, recommending new solutions or enhancements. Perform demonstrations of system updates and processes. Perform system audits. Participate in testing for releases and upgrades. Support and manage change requests and new initiatives. Create/maintain documentation workflows and technical documentation. Lead deployments of new initiatives and hyper care. Ensure project deliverables are on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. Manage project timelines and resources as needed. Conduct data analysis and reporting to assess system performance and recommend improvements. Maintain confidentiality and act as an ambassador of the Virgin culture. Superpowers / Qualifications College degree or equivalent. Experience working in a team environment and with external vendors. 4+ years in business systems analysis, with experience serving as a point of contact between management and team members. 4+ years of reservation systems experience; preferably Seaware and ship PMS systems. Resilient with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and strong influencing skills. Enjoys working with diverse teams and bringing a positive, energetic attitude. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of an excellent team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Project management skills. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools. Knowledge of databases, software development, and systems integration. Familiarity with data analytics and change management principles.
