Salary: $95,000 to $115,000 plus Annual Bonus and Comprehensive Benefits

Ashton North is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join a growing construction services organization in Boca Raton, Florida.

Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will have the opportunity to influence the accounts receivable function while working closely with Finance, Operations, and Project Management.

This is far more than a traditional collections position. The company needs someone who can own the entire accounts receivable function across billing, collections, contract compliance, customer account management, and process improvement. The successful candidate will bring structure, urgency, and accuracy to a high volume construction billing environment where cash flow, documentation, and operational follow through are critical to success.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will partner closely with Finance, Operations, and Project Management to ensure invoices are accurate, contract requirements are met, disputes are resolved quickly, and collections are managed with discipline.

What You'll Own


Lead the full accounts receivable cycle, including AIA progress billing, Time and Materials billing, unit based billing, milestone billing, collections, payment posting, customer issue resolution, and accounts receivable reporting.

Ensure billing documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant, including retainage, lien waivers, change orders, certified payroll, and other construction related requirements.

Partner closely with Project Managers and Operations to resolve billing discrepancies before they impact payment.

Monitor aging reports, collections performance, cash flow trends, and key accounts receivable metrics.

Develop and improve accounts receivable processes, internal controls, and workflow efficiency to support future growth.

Supervise, coach, and develop accounts receivable support staff while establishing accountability and consistency across the department.

Support month end close activities and provide reporting and analysis to Finance leadership.

What We're Looking For


The ideal candidate will have:

Five to seven or more years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience.

At least two years of supervisory or management experience.

Strong construction billing experience.

Experience with AIA billing, retainage, lien releases, change orders, certified payroll, and construction contract compliance.

Experience managing high volume, multi state, or multi entity accounts receivable environments.

Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting system experience.

Ability to work collaboratively with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams.

Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.

A process driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency around collections, billing accuracy, and cash flow management.

Preferred Experience


Experience with job cost accounting.

Knowledge of Work in Progress reporting.

Experience supporting ERP implementations or system integrations.

Experience working within a high growth construction or industrial services organization.
