About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care emergency department License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, PALS Must-Have: 1-year minimum of current acute care emergency department RN experience. Ability to work mid-shift and night shift. Description: This position is for a travel RN in the emergency department. The facility has 11 beds and operates 24/7 with a staff that includes 2 RNs per shift and a medic during the day. Patient ratios are 1:4. Common procedures performed include EKGs, IVs, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care. The preferred candidate will have ER charge RN experience and a willingness to float between departments. Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork. The unit is equipped with advanced technology and offers various schedule options.
