Assistant Teacher

As a Floater at the Primrose School of Lone Tree you'll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule to help support the school in meeting compliance and play a pivotal part of team support!

Benefits:

• Hourly compensation is based on credentials
• Assistant Teacher $19.00 to $20.00, depending on experience and education
• Lead Teacher $21.00 to $23.00, depending on experience and education
• $500 Signing Bonus after 90 days
• Set Schedule Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm Closed Weekends, Nights and Holidays
• Paid Time Off (PTO) 80 hours annually Paid Sick Leave up to 48 hours annually Paid holidays Paid week off for Winter Break (week of Christmas)

Qualifications:

• Assistant Teachers- PDIS 1 is required
• Lead Teachers- PDIS 2, CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree required
• Previous experience as a teacher in licensed early childhood education, PreK, preschool, childcare, day care center, or education
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of childcare programs and child safety

Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Lone Tree, and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.

Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
