Position Summary As a Retail Cashier , you’ll be the face of Busy Beaver by providing friendly, accurate, and efficient checkout experiences for every customer. You’ll receive and process payments, maintain an organized checkout area, and ensure each customer leaves with a positive impression. Cashiers also assist with customer inquiries, promote store programs, and support store operations as needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values honesty, courtesy, and customer service. What You’ll Do Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash, credit, and other transactions. Scan and process customer purchases quickly and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area. Answer customer questions and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner. Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions. Direct customers to sales associates for additional assistance. Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed. Open and close registers daily, following policy and POS system procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Strong time management skills to ensure efficient checkout. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written. Friendly, courteous, and customer service–oriented personality. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Ability to multitask and stay organized. Team player who enjoys working with others. Experience in electronics, jewelry, or technical sales is a plus. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Satisfactory results are required prior to employment. Summary This is for a part time position that has the possibilities of full time or advancement in the future. You must be able to work all shifts, which is day shift, night shift, week days and weekends. You must be able to stand at the register at a long period of time, and have great customer skills.
