The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, visionary Executive Director (ED) to take the helm at Seneca Place.
As the Executive Director, you are the captain of the ship and the face of our community. This high-impact leadership role requires a sophisticated blend of operational savvy, clinical oversight coordination, fiscal responsibility, and local community engagement. You will lead the department heads, drive a supportive staff culture, ensure immaculate regulatory compliance, and maintain the high standard of hospitality our residents and their families expect.
Key Responsibilities

Full Operational Accountability: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the entire assisted living community, ensuring safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant facility management.

Culture & Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing leadership team. You will champion a workplace culture that values employee retention, professional growth, and direct accountability.

Regulatory & Compliance Excellence: Maintain a strict, audit-ready posture in full compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) assisted living regulations.

Financial & Census Management: Manage the community’s operational budget, control labor and supply expenses, and partner with marketing/admissions teams to meet or exceed census and revenue goals.

Hospitality & Resident Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for families and residents, maintaining open lines of communication and resolving concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure: An active, valid Assisted Living (AL) Administrator License is strictly required.

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of successful tenure as an Executive Director or Assistant ED within an Assisted Living, Personal Care, or Long-Term Care environment.

Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing complete facility P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Leadership Style: A visible, approachable leader who thrives on the floor with staff and residents, not just behind a desk.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
