About the Unit: The

Outpatient Infusion Center

at Obici sees mainly adult patients (30+ patients a day). Occasional pediatrics but rare. Our infusion center provides chemo/biotherapy, immunotherapy, Sub Q Injections, central line care and labs, blood products, and hydration therapies. This is a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment. The

Infusion Nurse

is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Education: One of the Following RN-Associate’s Degree RN-Bachelor’s Degree RN-Diploma RN-Master’s Degree License / Certification Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire. ACLS within one (1) year of hire Chemo/Bio Certified within 6 months of hire. This course is online through ONS and the department will pay for this course. Experience At least 3 years of clinical floor nursing experience on a medical oncology floor or infusion experience (strongly preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
